David is a well known financial professional, educator, speaker and lecturer in Bakersfield for over 30 years. David has counseled hundreds of individuals on how to increase their income, reduce their indebtedness and save taxes. David has advised individuals on how to redirect over $50 million in federal estate taxes to their families and to charities of their choice.
After graduating from the University of Southern California, David managed his own accounting firm for 15 years. Later he merged his practice into Bakersfield CPA firm, Daniells Phillips Vaughan and Bock to become one of the largest CPA firms in the region. David was the lead Tax Partner for two years and then was the firms lead Consulting Partner.
David has been an active volunteer during his professional career, serving as President (2 terms) of United Way of Kern County, President of Bakersfield Country Club, City Director for Crown Financial Ministries, Chairman of the Board of Hoffmann Hospice, Board Director for the Southern California Golf Association Foundation and CFO for the Kern Leadership Alliance.
He is married to wife Jan and has a daughter Emily. David is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Family Wealth Counselor. A practicing CPA for 31 years, David has recently turned his full attention to stewardship advising.
